A romantic getaway
Historic Site - Festival of San Juan
Not even Napoleon came across them... or so the legend goes, since Patones de Arriba is a hidden spot where you can enjoy a landscape and constructions that will be unusual for those who are willing to be surprised in our Community. Walking through Patones de Arriba is like visiting an open-air slate museum. It has the perfect touch of what is known as rural chic. There is nothing better to whet your appetite than to walk along the ecological path of El Barranco that separates the two Patones de Abajo and Patones de Arriba. A 750-metre path from which you can see the entire natural surroundings of this area. And to satisfy your appetite, you will find a different gastronomic offer, with intimate and romantic rural restaurants, surrounded by a natural setting of mountains, valleys and reservoirs.
It is true that the festivities of San Juan and Carnival are celebrated everywhere, but in Patones they have a special flavour because of the picturesque streets and because all the traditions of yesteryear are preserved here.
