GO TO SITEThe Royal Collections Gallery invites you on an extraordinary journey: a journey through five centuries of art and culture in an exceptional building. A heritage of all that shows a selection of the best works: paintings, sculptures, armour, tapestries, decorative arts, carriages... signed, among others, by masters of the stature of El Greco, Caravaggio, Velázquez, Goya, Bernini or Canops.
The building - designed by Tuñón y Mansilla - has received ten architectural awards. Its sobriety and apparent simplicity contrasts, complements and emphasises the magnificent exhibition.
This Gallery is a showcase for the work that Patrimonio Nacional carries out to maintain this valuable cultural heritage but, above all, it is a window onto all the Royal Sites such as the royal palaces of La Granja, El Pardo and La Almudaina or monasteries such as Yuste and Santa Maria de las Huelgas in Burgos, among many others managed by Patrimonio Nacional.
