Plaza Mayor - Ulpiano Checa Museum - Wine cellars - Bullfights
The Ulpiano Checa Museum is the museum of this municipality, small in size but not in wealth. Its Plaza Mayor is another fine example of popular architecture, where you can enjoy a glass of good wine from the Madrid Designation of Origin, after visiting its century-old wineries. We recommend you enjoy the wines at the Wine Fair held in May, a magnificent month to take the CiclaMadrid Tajuña Greenway, which is a great place for a walk in the countryside with the family. May is also the month for its picturesque bullfights in the Plaza Mayor. To replenish your strength, "las pozas", a sandwich made of bread in which the crumb is replaced by a mince of onion, tomato and pickled vegetables, or "patatas chulas", confit in olive oil and seasoned with garlic, parsley and a little vinegar. This and good wine, and there is nothing more to say.
