Aranjuez, a history linked to the Crown
Listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Cultural Landscape in 2001
The famous gardens of the palace have been inscribed together with the natural environment surrounding the municipality, in 2001 in the UNESCO list of World Heritage Cultural Landscape.
If you want to do something different, take advantage of the wide range of active tourism and nature activities on offer, including hiking and canoeing in the waters of the Tagus. If you're looking for a more relaxed plan, try a boat trip on the Tagus or a tour of the gardens in a small train, which is recommended for all ages, although it will certainly delight the youngest visitors.
