The Silver Age is the name given to the period of Spanish cultural flourishing in the first third of the 20th century. Many artists found in Paris the "dream homeland" for their creations. Granados, Falla, and Zuloaga traveled to Paris during this period, experiencing the stimulating encounter with the artistic avant-garde and developing the strokes of their personal aesthetics: so different, yet so similar. They sought the essential, authentic, indelible Spain.

And they believe they find it in the recreations of the great Spanish painters, writers, and musicians of yesteryear. The artist creates their work within a specific historical context. In times like these, when the need to "rethink" our shared Spain is so urgently apparent, my proposal finds some of its meaning.
