The Círculo de Bellas Artes de Madrid (CBA) is a private non-profit cultural entity declared a "Centre for the Protection of the Fine Arts and Public Utility". Since its creation in 1880, it has carried out an essential work in the creation and dissemination of art. Today, it is considered one of the most important cultural centres in Europe. Its current headquarters is one of the most emblematic and recognisable buildings in Madrid and it hosts activities ranging from the plastic arts to literature, as well as science, cinema and the performing arts.
The CBA has two restaurant areas. La Pecera is on a par with the great European cafés. Its large windows allow you to observe the vitality of a big city without its discomforts. It is one of the most significant places of Madrid's culture and society. The Azotea del Círculo has one of the most powerful views of Madrid. Almost 360 degrees of panoramic views over the rooftops of the capital to enjoy at any time of the year. Its privileged location makes it one of the busiest places on summer nights.
