The exhibition understands the act of eating together as the foundation of the cultural identity of Mediterranean communities. The visitor will have the opportunity to learn about the way in which the Mediterranean diet has been constructed throughout history, with special emphasis on its cultural and sociological aspect, addressing in the story the latest developments in archaeological research on the subject.
