CODE HOTELMURO10"The Berlin Wall. A World Divided" exhibition traces the escalation of this global conflict between capitalism and communism, showing the real impact on the lives of citizens on both sides of the Wall, through more than 300 original objects.
An extensive collection –more than 20 meters of the Wall, personal belongings or spy tools, from collections around the world such as the Hiroshima Peace Museum, the Stasi Archive, or the Allied Museum in Berlin– together with a careful narrative and an individual audio tour, available in English, allows you to explore this complex history in depth and understand what it meant to live in a divided city.
The Wall fell on November 9, 1989, yet the coexistence of different visions of how modern societies should be organized is a challenge we face every day.
